Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office Arrests 57 Year Old Man for Possession of Child Pornography

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested 57 year old Kenneth Dwayne Mitchell on Wednesday for Possession of Child Pornography. He is currently being held at Hopkins County Jail on $20,000 bond.
Chief Investigator followed up on a child pornography tip he previously received and Mitchell came to Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office for a voluntary interview. During the voluntary interview Mitchell admitted to receiving images of the 17 year old victim showing her nude.
Upon receiving confession Mitchell was taken into custody and charged with the above offense.
