John 4:10-11
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” 11 The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?
On the game show, ‘Jeopardy!’, contestants are in competition with one another to provide questions for the answers given to them. Your life as a believer should be the answer that brings up questions in the minds of those who don’t know Christ. When you live out your faith in God in front of those around you they will naturally be curious as to why your life seems to operate differently than theirs does. Why were you not rattled when the boss cut back everyone’s hours because business was slow? When your kids get sick or the car breaks down, you just keep on moving forward with a smile on your face. Your life in the kingdom should look different from those who are on the outside looking in. When is the last time your faith caused someone to ask a question about the answer you have? – Love and Blessings, Pastor Jeff
