Como-Pickton Boys Basketball defeated Cumby 55-42.
Como-Pickton Girls Basketball defeated Cumby 52-18. K’Lah Skidmore led scorers with 28 points. Coach Brandi Crouch told us, “”I’ve preached to my kids all season about how you can’t take a team for granted. Our biggest struggle this year has been playing for a full 4 quarters, starting from when the ball goes up, until the buzzard sounds at the end of the 4th quarter. My kids came out extremely intense for the first quarter and jumped up and got a 18-0 lead. We set goals for each quarter to score and the only one we failed at is only scoring 7 in the 2nd quarter. ”
