Isaiah 9:6 

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Peace.  It’s something that everyone seeks.  Some seek peace in solitude while others seek it through company.  Others may look for it in relaxation and some in activity.  The mistake that many people make is not realizing that peace is not found in circumstances but in someone.  Jesus came as the Prince of Peace.  The first and most important peace He sought was man’s peace with God.  His blood was applied to Heaven’s mercy seat and satisfied God’s wrath that was brought about by man’s sin.  Because this He re-established this peace, His Spirit could reside in man and bring about the wholeness that man lost in the garden.  True peace is just that, wholeness.  It is literally interpreted as ‘nothing missing, nothing broken’.  Jesus, came to be your everlasting peace.  Peace that is not determined by your circumstances but by your position.  Whether or not you’re experiencing a peaceful life at the moment, you can experience true peace because He lives inside of you and has given you a place in the Kingdom. – Merry Christmas, Pastor Jeff
