Isaiah 9:6 

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

While the example of what a true father should look has become very skewed in society today, the original Father and His heart for you has never changed.  From the very beginning, He made it His sole purpose to love you unconditionally and He has never once backed away from that.  In spite any mistakes or sin that may have taken place in your life, He has never changed His mind or had a moment of regret for creating you.  While your earthly father may or may not be in your life for any myriad of reasons, your Everlasting Father is right where He’s always been.  He is all around you, watching over you.  He is your biggest fan and supporter.  There is nothing that He has that He trying to withhold from you.  So whether your earthly father was good or bad, rich or poor, strong or weak, present or absent, you have a Heavenly Father who created you to be in His presence for all of eternity.  He wants you to experience His love and goodness in every aspect of you life in an everlasting way.  His arms are open wide, all you have to do is accept His invitation.  He wants you to be where He is. – Merry Christmas, Pastor Jeff
