The winners of the first Hopkins County Fall Festival Hay Bale Sculpture Contest were announced on Saturday. East Texas Physical Therapy won best in show. Janeen’s Country Cottage won 1st place. All World Travel won 2nd with their plane sculpture. And City National Bank won third place for their Tin Man sculpture.
Springs Public Library’s Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown received a Special Award from the committee for Kid Friendly and Interaction. There were six Honorable Mentions: Sunny Springs’ Sunshine, Red River Credit Union’s Piggy Bank, Can Help’s Latte, Satillo FFA’s Cow, Healing Hands’ Unicorn, Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab, and Central Baptist Church’s Turkey.
