Cumby Loses to Celeste 41-28. Sulphur Springs and Como-Pickton Football Games Cancelled.

Sulphur Springs’ football home opener against Lucas Lovejoy was cancelled Friday night and the game will not be rescheduled.

Como-Pickton’s game against Detroit was also called due to weather. The Eagles had a 6-0 lead before the game was called off.

Cumby lost to Celeste 41-28. Poor field conditions led to a 28-8 first half lead for Celeste. Cumby battled back in the second half but didn’t have enough time to close the gap. Cumby plays Wolfe City next Friday.
