Former SSHS Athlete and Current University of Arkansas Bullpen Coach Colby Suggs is Headed to His Second College World Series with the Razorbacks

Former Sulphur Springs Wildcats athlete Colby Suggs is headed to his second College World Series with the University of Arkansas Baseball team. Suggs is currently serving as the bullpen coach with the Razorbacks. The Razorbacks advanced to the CWS with a dominant victory over South Carolina last night. Suggs was a relief pitcher on Arkansas’ 2012 College World Series team.
Suggs retired from professional baseball late last year and joined the Razorback coaching staff this season. He was selected in the second round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Miami Marlins.
