Sulphur Springs High School UIL Students Earn 17 Medals at UIL Academic State Meet.

From SSHS UIL Coordinator Gerald Grafton:

I would like to share a few thoughts as the 2018 SSHS Wildcat UIL Academic Team season comes to a close. Our students have pushed themselves, and in so doing, prepared themselves to be successful at the next level, whatever that may be. Our sponsors have given selflessly and beyond the call of duty to prepare these students to be successful. Thanks to each of you from the bottom of my heart. Administration and Staff of SSISD and SSHS, thanks for all the encouragement and support you have provided this year. Now for the good stuff…

State UIL Academic Championships

11 Sulphur Springs High School students competed at the UIL Academic State Meet this past weekend, May 4th and 5th, at the University of Texas in Austin. All 11 students brought home at least one medal for their efforts. 17 medals were earned in all. Congratulations to all. We are extremely proud of the way our students represented Sulphur Springs High School. Individual and Team results follow.
