All those between ages 8-17 will have a chance to take to the skies on Saturday, April 14 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, as EAA Chapter 1094 hosts a Young Eagles Flight Rally at Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport.
The rally is part of the EAA Young Eagles Program, created to interest young people in aviation. Since the program started in 1992, volunteer EAA pilots have flown more than two million young people in more than 90 countries.
Those attending the flight rally on April 14th are asked to come to the main airport terminal any time between 9am and noon to register. Several aircraft are available so there will be room for everyone.
A Young Eagles airplane ride requires a parent or legal guardian’s permission.
