Caddo Mills Man Arrested After High Speed Pursuit. Speeds Reported at 125 MPH+

Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30 year old Luis Olivo of Caddo Mills yesterday after a high speed chase. Deputies observed a motorcycle pass their location at a high rate of speed. Deputies caught up to the vehicle and activated overhead lights. Olivo failed to stop or yield. The pursuit began on Hwy 154 to FM 513 to FM 514 to Hwy 19 to I-30 to Hwy 380 and finally to FM 36 where the suspect stopped and fled on foot. He was caught in a pasture and arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle. During the pursuit Olivo was travelling at speeds 125 mph or greater.
