Boy Scouts rededicated the ‘Circle of Liberty’ at Heritage Park on Saturday. The memorial was relocated from Camp Dierks in Oklahoma. The memorial recognizes boys who achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Venturing Ranger and Quartermaster and adults who reach Silver Beaver and Vigil ranks. The memorial recognizes over 2,000 members from the Texas and Oklahoma areas. The memorial is a Statue of Liberty surrounded by four flagpoles with the names of the achieving members engraved on bricks.
