SSHS Theatre will have a preview performance of the UIL One Act Play VIOLET SHARP this Sunday at 2pm in preparation for District Competition next week.
VIOLET SHARP centers on the investigation into the kidnapping and murder of the Lindbergh baby in 1932. The show features senior Brianna Isham as Violet, the prime suspect in the murder. Senior Dusty Merrell plays the detective trying to solve the kidnapping and save the baby. Seniors Jaci Reed and Sarah Harper are also featured in this gripping story. Juniors Hagen Hunt and Joseph Baxley, sophomores Lainee Ashford, Rachel Bramlett, Annmarie Gunn, Chase Berry, Nathan Braddy, Sami Harmon and Reagan Kesting complete the cast.
The crew is led by junior stage manager Lucia Yanez and senior lighting tech Leif Thomas. Other crew members include juniors Tre Ransom and Cody Queen, sophomores Skyler Chote and Kennedy Dicus, and freshmen Hannah Shultz and Rorie Young.
The performance in the SSHS auditorium is free for the public.
