Last Night Hike of the Year hosted by Cooper Lake State Park – Texas Parks and Wildlife will be Saturday December 30th from 7pm to 8pm.
Say good night to 2017 on a night hike with a ranger. When you look into the darkness of the night… do you ever wonder what lurks beyond the darkness? Let’s find out as we take a night hike down Coyote Run Trail. We will go about a half a mile down the trail and then spend some time looking at “spider eyes” and scorpions. If we are really quiet we might have the opportunity to hear and maybe see some of the wildlife that comes out at night. This program may be cancelled due to bad weather. Call the park office for updated information.
Meet: Coyote Run Trail Head at the South Sulphur Unit
Bring: water and a red lensed flashlight if you have one, Halloween costumes encouraged!
