Chick for Charity Donates Over $5,000 to Safe-T Crisis Center(Shelter Agencies for Families in East Texas)

Chicks for Charity presented Safe-T Crisis Center with a donation yesterday totaling over $5,000. Mandy Kennedy and Sandra Baucom presented the check to Ragan Dennis, Sheena Jaco, and Mary Ferguson of Safe-T. Safe-T Crisis Center is a local organization that serves victims of family violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. They are located at 613 Gilmer St.

Chicks for Charity reaches out and helps our communities by finding 100 or more women to each contribute at least $50, four times a year to collectively give at least $20,000 annually to local charities and non-profit organizations here in Hopkins County, Texas. The idea is to keep their contributions and support local so as to have a direct and immediate impact that we can all personally see, right here in our communities.
