Here’s the video of James Cameron’s induction into the Texas High School Coaches Association’s Hall of Honor. The following is passed along from his daughterJessica Alexander:
In attendance were 4 children, 4 of 9 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Wife June Cameron. Children and spouses were Jeff and Amy Cameron with their son Noah Cameron. Ed and Debra Cook, their son Cameron and spouse Kayla. Also their Daughter and her husband Kurt and Kate Bost with their son August James. Joey Cameron with his daughter Mattison. Collin and Jessica Alexander. Our family is sincerely humbled by our dad’s induction into the THSCA Hall of Honor. For him to be recognized by fellow coaches, is meaningful achievement. In my dads own words ‘Be Humble in Your Victory, And Give God the Glory’. We asked Joey Florence to accept the honor on behalf of our family. He, along with Charles King and others, worked so hard for this to be possible. Joey was not only a former player for my dad but also one of his coaches and we felt he would do a wonderful job addressing fellow coaches at the luncheon.
