Local Eagle Scout Project Provides 50 Backpacks for Lake Country CASA

Local Eagle Scout Matthew Sherman(pictured in the blue scarf) completed his Eagle Scout project yesterday by donating 50 backpacks full of school supplies to Lake Country CASA. Members of Boy Scout Troop 69 helped Matthew complete the project. Matthew said that he was happy to be able to give back to his community. Each backpack was packed with the school supplies list for local schools. CASA supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every abused or neglected child in the United States can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive. Great job Matthew!
