Rotary Club of Sulphur Springs presented the City of Sulphur Springs with 6 new picnic tables for the pavilion at Buford Park. Rotary Club used funds from their Claws for a Cause fundraiser to purchase the tables. Rotary club received a district matching grant of $1700 to help fund the donation.
Mayor John Sellers accepted the tables on behalf of the city and Rotary Club President Neva Mohesky presented them on behalf of Rotary Club. Mohesky noted that the donation was based on the tables and pavilion being a sustainable project that the community will be able to use well into the future. The tables were built by Dan Froneberger.
