Larry Crabb, 88, of Bonham, formerly of Sulphur Springs, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017, at Clyde Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham. He was born on August 24, 1928 in Sulphur Springs, TX, the son of Willie Alvie and Hazel Bernice McLarryCrabb. He served in the United States Army and later worked as a dairy farmer for many years. He is survived by daughter, Judy C. Bading and husband Robert of Forest, VA, brothers, James Patrick Crabb and wife Mary of Sulphur Springs, Max Allen Crabb of Garland, sister, Sue Rogers of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Jennifer Roark Shaw and husband Charles of Heber Springs, AR, great-grandchildren, Josie Ella Mae Shaw and Bailey Collins, both of AR, many nieces and nephews, and special family friend, Ed Oetting. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, James Allen Crabb. A special thank you to Emily Hornbeck, Tammy Smallwood, Lauren Gorman, Sherry Hawkins, and Lou AnnBankston from Clyde Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas and to Gina Cantrell withHeart to Heart Hospice in Sherman, Texas for taking such good care of dad over the last 3 years. There will be no formal services held at this time. Memorial inurnment will take place at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
