Sulphur Springs Woman Arrested for Assault Family Violence

29 year old Mittie Marie Melton of Sulphur Springs was arrested for Assault Family Violence yesterday. Officers responded to a reported disturbance on Magnolia Street. The responding officer was informed by the victim and witness that Melton pushed the victim down the stairs and punched him in the face. Melton was placed under arrest and transported to Hopkins County Jail.
