Funeral services for Lloyd A. Hiller, Sr., age 89, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Cook officiating.  Military graveside honors by the Hopkins County Military Coalition will follow at Mahoney Cemetery with Chris Hiller, Jeremy Hiller, Scott Hundt, Steve Hiller, Randy Hiller and Logan Hundt serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Jordan, Gary Lewis, Jim Scaggs and Max Drummond.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at West Oaks Funeral Home.  Mr. Hiller passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Wesley House in Sulphur Springs.  Mr. Hiller was born on February 9, 1928 in Dallas, TX, the son of Christopher Ernest Hiller and Olga Augusta HenerettaBosse Hiller.  He married Maxine Caroline Upton on February 17, 1947 in Dallas.  She preceded him in death on November 13, 2015.  Mr. Hiller was a fireman for the Dallas Fire Department for 18 years.  He served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.  He is survived by his sons, Allen Hiller and wife Carolyn of Kaufman, Jack Hiller of Sulphur Springs, James Hiller and wife Karen of Dike, sister, Joyce Whitley of Cedar Hill, grandchildren, Randy Hiller, Steven Hiller, Julie Hundt, Chris Hiller, Jeremy Hiller, Heather Negley, Sonya Romero, and Tammy Romero, great-grandchildren, Kaden, Kayla, Kinley, Scott, Logan, Leigha, Autumn, Frank,Jr., Erik, Valerie, Noah and Maximus, great-great granddaughter, Adara Wren Hunt.  In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by his parents, grandson,James Hiller, Jr. and great-grandsonThomas Isaac Gamez, Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 614 Texas Street, Sulphur Springs, TX  75482.  Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home. www.westoaksfuneralhome.com
