FitMiss Studio held their grand opening ribbon cutting today in their studio at 468 Shannon Road 8B. FitMiss Studio is a women’s only fitness studio offering premier group & private training. Classes include Barre, Core, Cardio Kick, Body Blast, Dance Fitness and Weight Training. They also have a room for the kids to hang out while their moms work out.

FitMiss Studio is the ultimate dream realization for owner/trainer Jaime Mitchell.  Although she spent most of her life active and healthy, it wasn’t until an unexpected layoff that she decided to take that leap of faith.  After 18 years in finance and accounting she found herself questioning whether she was truly following her calling.  With a whole lot of prayer and faith, she took the plunge and decided to open FitMiss Studio with the ultimate goal of helping women.  FitMiss is more than a fitness studio.  It is a second home, a safe and fun place to hang out, a place where you can laugh, cry and find lasting friendships.

Jaime Mitchell is a mom of 3 kiddos, certified personal trainer and NPC bikini competitor.  Jaime’s passion is helping women through health and fitness.  As a wife and mom she knows how busy life can be and how easy it is to put your health on the back burner.  Her goal is to create a quick, but challenging workout environment that would enable women to achieve their health & fitness goals timely and effectively.  But more than that, she strives to create a safe, fun and supportive place for all women!  Jaime says “by giving women a place to take just a little time for themselves, we give them the great opportunity to improve every aspect of their lives!”
