Boys Baseball, Girls Softball, and Bright Star Baseball Sign-Ups Have Begun


Hopkins County Girls Softball Association Sign Ups have started. This year sign ups will be at Field House Sports and Hibbett Sports. The cost for a player to play is $75 (with participating in fundraiser by selling all of their raffle tickets) or $125 to opt out of fundraiser. This years fundraiser will be $2 raffle tickets. Players will have to sell 40 tickets. Top seller will win $100, 2nd $50 and 3rd $25. Last Day to sign up will be Feb 25th. Draft will be the second week in March and practices will start directly afterwards. Games will start April 1st and go through the end of May. SweeTees (6u) and Darlings (8u) will play during the week along with on Saturdays. Angels, Ponytails and Belles will only play on Mon, Tues or Thurs nights. Coaches forms are at both locations. You must fill out if you are wanting to coach. Players must be 4 as of March 31st to play this season.


Sulphur Springs Boys Baseball Association is now accepting registrations through February 27th at Fieldhouse Sports. Registration fees are $55 for ages 3-4 and $80 for all other ages. You can find more information at facebook.com/ssboysbaseball.


Registrations have also begun for Bright Star Baseball’s Spring 2017 Season. Bright Star Baseball is for boys and girls with special needs from ages 5-18. There is no cost to play. Players are assigned a Buddy, or two, if needed, to ass them on and off the field. Volunteer Buddies also needed, must be grade 6 or above. Games are played on Monday nights at Buford Park.
