Yantis School Receives New Sign, Monday

It was "down with the old and up with the new" for Yantis School, on Monday, when they received a new sign for the entrance to the school, from Highway-154. The new sign was compliments of Wood County National Bank and will allow school activities to be posted digitally on the sign. "It will be a great way for everyone to be reminded of all of the school activities," expressed Yantis Superintendent Harold Cowley. "It's conveniently located where everyone at school and in the community can be aware of what is happening!"

 

 

The sign can be digitally changed by computer, in the school, and doesn't require someone to manually change the letters on it! "That's great for the person that has been having to go out and change the sign, regardless of the weather," expressed Cowley. "We want to thank Wood County National Bank for their generosity and their interest in the school!"

Next time you're in downtown Yantis, notice the new sign, at the entrance to the school.
