Downtown Tailgate Party Planned
With Thursday Night Pep Rally

 

 

Do you normally tailgate before the SS Wildcat games?  If so, then pack up your cooker and head to the Square for a Tailgate Party like no other!  We want the square to be full of Wildcat Fans in their blue and gold, cheering our football team on to victory in Waco!  The football team, coaches, band, drill team and cheerleaders will be on the square and we want to fill them up with all of the Sulphur Springs Spirit to help them win on Friday!!!

 

Several businesses have expressed an interest in cooking along with several church groups, civic groups and individuals.  You do not have to prepare food for the community…just for your friends and family…or whoever you would normally include in your tailgate party! 

 

Beginning at 3:00 on Thursday afternoon, the north side of the square will be blocked off.  You may still enter from Jefferson and Church Street, but if you want to cook, you will need to enter from the Southside of the Square in front of Plain & Fancy.  All cookers must be in place no later than 5:30pm.  Also, please make note of the pedestrian walkways and utilize them as much as possible! 

 

We are so proud of the SS Wildcats…so let’s show them this Thursday night at 6pm! 

 

A prize will be awarded for the “Best Tailgate” of individuals/groups.
