Wildcats Deliver Homecoming Victory
and Go 5-0 For Season, Friday Night
by: Bobby McDonald

It was a packed crowd at Gerald Prim Stadium, as the Sulphur Springs Wildcats met the Pine Tree Pirates, in the district opener and Homecoming game, on Friday night. Several classes at Sulphur Springs High School used the game as a "meeting place" and had other activities planned for reunions, this weekend. And, the Sulphur Springs Wildcats continued their winning ways, as they defeated the Pirates, delivering a 45-7 victory for the hometown crowd.

Strongly favored in the match-up, the Wildcats came out strong and led 22-0 at the halftime intermission, and "wrapped the game up" with the Pirates scoring their lone marks on the board, as a result of an interception, during the final half, near the goal line.

Enjoy the following scenes from Friday night's hometown victory!!!
