Veteran's Memorial Group
Unveils Sign at Location, Monday

It was a group of supporters that met Monday, at noon, to remove the cover from a sign, installed at the location of the future Veteran's Memorial, signifying their presence in the downtown area of Sulphur Springs. The group continues to raise and solicit funds for the project to honor those from Hopkins County who have served in all branches of the military. The proposed memorial will list the names of those serving, engraved in marble.

If you have a family member, who has served, contact the Veteran's Memorial Committee to make certain that their names are included in the installation.

 

 

 

 

The Veteran's Memorial Committee continues to conduct fundraisers and solicit funds from individuals, businesses, and corporations, for the large project. Donations are appreciated and you will notice individuals at a number of locations selling cookbooks, t-shirts, and other items to promote the project.
