"It's great when other people recognize what you already know!" was Sulphur Springs ISD Superintendent Patsy Bolton's affirmation, when she received a letter from the Van ISD, this week. "All of us here in Sulphur Springs just take it for granted, many times, that we have outstanding students and staff, but it's even more special when other people recognize it and think enough of it, to tell you about it!"

Bolton was referring to the letter below, that she received from the Van ISD, regarding the conduct of students and staff at the recent play-off game, held in their district. School leaders in the Van ISD praised Sulphur Springs students, band members, players, coaches, and staff for being great to work with and conducting themselves in a most professional manner, while visiting their district.

"So many times, you don't realize that other people are looking," expressed Bolton. "But, they are and they recognize the great people that we have here in Hopkins County, and that just makes me so glad to have the opportunity to represent Sulphur Springs ISD. That's what makes my job a joy every day, working with quality students and staff!"

The following letter was received from Van ISD:
