UPRA Rodeo Moves Into Town
On Friday Night

The annual UPRA Finals Rodeo will move into the Hopkins County Civic Center, on Friday. Top cowboys and cowgirls in all of the rodeo events will be competing to add points to their annual winnings, in hopes of garnering the "top spot" in their event.

The first performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., in the Civic Center Arena, with subsequent performances on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., and 2:00 final performance on Sunday afternoon at 2:00. The annual awards dinner will follow the final performance, on Sunday night, where saddles and other awards will be presented to the top cowboys and cowgirls in each event. Local businesses have donated money to provide the awards.

Tickets are $7.00 in advance and $8.00 at the door, and can be purchased at the box office of the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center, by calling (903)885-8071.
