Update on Middle School student:

 

Mr. Reed called East Texas Medical Center and talked with the Dad this morning.  They had a good night last night.  The MRI did not show anything different from the previous one.  The sedation medication was reduced during the night, and she opened her eyes.  Looking around appeared to frighten her and her pulse rate increased.  The medication was then increased so she is sedated, again, at this time.  This process will be continued periodically.  Doctors said she could awake without any complications or it could be a long process.  At this time, it is just a waiting period.

 

Parents Billy and Leslie, as well as their extended family, expressed their appreciation for all the prayers, calls, cards and any expression of support and concern during this time.  They are especially appreciative of what the students and staff at Middle School did to save their daughter’s life.
