"Trick Or Treaters On Parade"
by: Bobby McDonald
Ghosts and Gobblins came out from every corner, on Saturday night, as most people in Hopkins County observed the Halloween holiday, with trick or treating, instead of Sunday night. "We had people lined-up at the door and they just kept coming," advised one Hollie Circle resident. "It was beautiful weather and loads of kids dressed and celebrated the night, with candy treats!"
Lines were also reported to have been long at "Trunk or Treat" at First Baptist Church and also in Pickton at the Pickton United Methodist Church "Trunk or Treat." "We had loads of youth who dressed and enjoyed the holiday," reported Polly Swatsell, from Pickton. "The weather was certainly pleasant all day Saturday and just enough 'nip' in the air, Saturday evening, to make all the costumes bearable!"
Enjoy these photos of youth as the celebrated Halloween "Hopkins County Style!"
