"The Blind Side" starring Sandra Bullock, Quinton Aaron, Tim McGraw, Lily Collins, and Jae Head, and directed by John Lee Hancock, in Sulphur Springs Theater for another week, is scoring big at theaters across the country. Local show times are 1:15; 3:55; 6:50; and 9:25p.m..

The true story is an inspirational film with great acting, that portrays Michael Oher, a virtually homeless young man, who has been kicked from foster home to foster home in "the projects." Oher is befriended by the Tuohy family, led by the coincidental meeting of Leigh Anne (Sandra Bullock), the family matriarch. After convincing her husband (Tim McGraw), the Tuohy family takes Michael into their home and enrolls him into private school, where he learns the game of football and is given a chance in life.

Oher soon finds that he is good at football and becomes a star at his school, with opportunities to play professional ball, after being awarded an All-American. We see both Oher and the Tuohy family grow, as the film and story develops, breaking down racial barriers and showing that opportunity has no bounds.

This movie is a five-star and "must see" for your holiday entertainment!
