The Sulphur Springs Symphony League conducted their annual auction, on Saturday night, beginning at 6:00 p.m., live on local radio station, KSST, and once again had a very successful event. "We raised approximately $10,000.00," expressed Bob Weaver, as he reported the results. "We thought it was wonderful with so many other events taking place over the weekend. This community just continues to keep giving and supporting the worthwhile causes, that need their support!"

"We had a wonderful array of items that had been donated by local businesses," expressed Pam Sellers, as she catalogued items, following their sale. "There was just a little bit of everything offered in the over 200 lots, and people kept calling and bidding, to make this a very successful event."

The proceeds from the auction are used to support the annual 4th of July Symphony and to add to promoting music in the schools of Hopkins County, as well as bringing quality entertainment to Hopkins County, in a number of concerts throughout the year!

"I think it was great and we certainly want to thank all of those who bid and participated in donating items to our auction, this year!" expressed Alec Bridges. "It was a great event and helps to fund the many programs that we participate in all year in Hopkins County!"
