PJC Offers "Start Your Own Business"

August is here whether we're ready for this extreme heat or not! But it's nice and cool in our Small Business Development Center (SBDC) workshops. Spend some of the remainder of the hot summer learning how you can start your own small business through our informative workshop or our free, confidential one-on-one counseling.

"How to Start Your Own Business will be presented Friday, August 13, 9:00 am - 11:00 am, FREE! PJC Sulphur Springs Center. If you've ever dreamed of owning a business, this seminar is for you. Topics to be covered include legal requirements, feasibility studies, forms of business ownership and their advantages and disadvantages, the business plan, finding the money, what lenders want to know, SBA loans, and other loan sources. Handouts for take-home review and study are provided as well as a pre-venture questionnaire to help you determine the feasibility of your idea.
