SSISD Announces Enrollment
Figures for Today

Enrollment figures from each campus in the Sulphur Springs I.S.D. resulted in an increase from Monday's figures, released earlier in the week. On Monday, there were 3978 students that attended the first day of school. By today, Thursday, August 26th, that total number had increased to 4041 students.

A campus breakdown is, as follows:

 

                                                ECLC         -  555

                                                Austin         - 196

                                                Bowie         - 360

                                                Lamar        - 275

                                                Travis        - 414

                                                Douglas     - 294

                                                Middle School - 887

                 

                                                High School - 1060

 

School officials still expect the enrollment to increase, through the Labor Day holiday, as traditionally, students continue to enroll through that period.
