Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills Exit Level Retest Schedule

 

The Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) Exit Level Retests will be given the week of April 26 – April 30, 2010 at Sulphur Springs High School.  Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. each day.

The testing schedule is:

              English Language Arts Exit Level Retest                    Tuesday, April 27, 2010

 

              Mathematics Exit Level Retest                                      Wednesday, April 28, 2010

             

              Science Exit Level Retest                                                 Thursday, April 29, 2010

 

              Social Studies Exit Level Retest                                    Friday, April 30, 2010

Two groups of examinees may test during the April 2010 Retest Administration:

• Students who have completed all graduation requirements except for the Texas Academic Knowledge and Skills Test (TAKS) and are not currently enrolled in high school will test as Out-of-School examinees.  Out-of-school examinees may pre-register by calling Glenda Wright at Sulphur Springs High School, 903-885-2158 extension 263.  Pre-registration is recommended, but registrations will be accepted on the day of the test.  Out-of-School examinees will be required to show picture identification.

• Students who are currently in the 12th grade at Sulphur Springs High School but have not met the passing standard for all sections of the TAKS Exit Level will also test on these days.  These students are pre-registered.

Study Guides are available for the tests and all examinees are encouraged to review the materials before the testing day.
