Sulphur Springs FFA Teams
Compete at Area Contests

It was some "stiff" competition, as area VI FFA Chapters met, on Saturday, November 21st, in Tyler, for the annual Area Leadership Contests. The Sulphur Springs FFA had nineteen students advancing to the area contest in five different events. The Ag Issues Forum Team placed fourth at the area contest, in a field of outstanding teams. The eight students presented a 15 minute debate on the significance of U.S. Food Aid to Under-Developed Countries.

The Greenhand Skills Team from Sulphur Springs placed 7th at the area contest, as did the Job Interview Team, and the Senior Quiz Team.

The Greenhand Quiz Team placed 10th in the contest.

Congratulations to the Sulphur Springs FFA and these students, who advanced to the area round of competition!
