South Spoon Farms Hosts Grand
Opening on Saturday, in Reilly Springs
by: Bobby McDonald

The Bryant Fisher Family got everything ready and extended the "welcome mat" on Saturday as they hosted the Grand Opening of their new country store. Things got underway at 8:00 on Saturday morning, with an array of visitors and purchasers coming to the store for fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, goat milk lotion, and numerous other products from their farm.

Marilee "unveils" a freshly baked Lemon Pound Cake, that she had prepared for Saturday's
Grand Opening of South Spoon Farms Country Store.
"The peas are just now getting ready," exclaimed J.R. Fisher, as he ran some through the pea sheller. "We'll have all varieties of peas in the next few weeks, as they are really looking nice!"

Bryant and J.R. Fisher stand by some of the hanging baskets and
plants that they still have available, depite the heat.

"We also have a nice array of watermelons, tomatoes, and plenty of hanging baskets," expressed Bryant Fisher. "Then, we've always got plenty of fresh brown eggs, even though the hens have slacked-off with the heat!"

Plenty of farm fresh brown eggs are available at South Spoon Farms Country Store.

Fresh field peas, already shelled, are just now beginning to be ready.
Marilee had plenty of her goat's milk lotion and many household items available. She invited everyone to call (903)383-2356 to get a schedule of when the store will be open and the produce that is available. "The heat has taken its toll on some of the vegetables, but we have loads of produce available," stated Marilee. "We invite everyone out to just see what we have available!"
Blake and Kendra were working steadily to load items for customers and explaining the various items offered for sale. "It's definitely a family affair and we look forward to visiting with all of our friends and customers," state Blake.

Make plans to come out to Reilly Springs and see the South Spoon Country Store, if you didn't make it on Saturday!

And, there's always some field work needing to be done to keep farm fresh produce available
for customers.
