Horsemanship Clinics Held
In Civic Center Equine Center
Friday and Saturday

Local horsemen welcomed the cooler temperatures on Friday and came out in large numbers for a series of horsemanship clincs being conducted in the Equine Pavillion of the Hopkins County Civic Center. The seminars will be conducted on both Friday and Saturday, as a part of the National Day of the American Cowboy celebration.

 

 

The clinics are designed to teach skills in all levels of performance horse events, including working Ranch horse events, reining, working cow horse, and other Western disciplines. Featured nationally known horsemen who are conducting the clinics include: B.F. Yeats, Jeff Buckley, Scott Buckley, and Jim Emerson. The clinics are sponsored by Stock Horse of Texas (SHOT) and are open to horsemen of all ages.

Another sponsor of the event is the local HEAT Horse Club of Hopkins County.
