Wildcats Conduct Senior Night
in Mt. Pleasant, Friday Night
by: Bobby McDonald
Despite wet fields and a move of the Friday night football game to Mt. Pleasant, Senior Night was conducted, as senior members of the Wildcat Band, Wildcat Football Team, Drill Team, and Cheerleaders were introduced and escorted onto the field by their parents. This was the final performance for many of the youth, before the home crowd and marked the end of their high school career.
"It's a tradition that was begun a few years ago, and it's unfortunate that it had to be moved to Mt. Pleasant," expressed one parent. "But, with the field almost under water at Gerald Prim Stadium, it was one of those things that couldn't be helped. And, looking on the bright side, it will be something that the students will have to talk about for years to come!"
