Members of the cast of "Nunsense" were part of the entertainment, on Tuesday, and won first
prize with the audience.

 

Tuesday's activities at the 40th Annual Hopkins County Fall Festival were devoted to the Senior Citizens of Hopkins County. From a Health Fair, to quality entertainment and bingo, and a dinner hosted by the Hopkins County Genealogical Society, Tuesday was a full day for the many that come out and enjoyed the days activities.

 

 

Awards presented on Tuesday included:

Senior Citizen Volunteer of the Year Awards

Male - James Loggins Female (2)  -  Mona Giles and Ida Martin

Talent Show Winners:  

1st Prize:  Betty Green and Pam Clayton (Duet) 2nd Prize: Larry Massey (Solo) 3rd Prize:  Betty Landes and Betty Green (Duet)  

Other Contestants:   Hazel Broyles - Solo Ray Baumgardner - Played Guitar and Sang Mary Edwards - Solo Dana Jordan - Harpsachord Marya Estes - Piano Solo Betty Landes - Solo Betty Green - Solo    

 


Larry Massey was named one of the Talent Show winners.

 


Various Health Agencies provided free health screening for seniors who attended
Tuesday's Fall Festival events.
