Sulphur Bluff Lady Bears
Defeat Lady Owls, Tuesday Night

Tuesday night the Sulphur Bluff JV and Varsity sweep Yantis in both matches. 

JV played first and won both games 25-12 and 25-10. Leading scorers in the first game was Chyenne Bryant with 11 points. Hailely Waid, Kacie Powers and Meagan Coberley also scored in game one.  In game two our leading scorers were Hailey Waid and Kacie Powers with 6 points each.  Chyenne Bryant, Meagan Colberley, Ashton Sharp all scores in game two.

 

 

 

 

 

In the first varsity game Virginia Rodriquez scored the first 15 points off serves to take a demanding 15-0 lead and Stephanie Hogue earned 5 serves to win game one 25 to 4.  In game two we had a number of players score off their serves but our leading scorer was Katelyn Brown with 8 points to win game two 25 to 19. In the game three and the final game of the night Stephanie Hogue scored 9 points to give us the game and Jamie Goldsmith served 6 points to finish the game 25 to 14.  The lady Bears played great all night and won their 2nd game for the season and will play Dodd City at home next Tuesday night. While the JV team grab their 2nd win on the season and are now 2-0 and will be playing in our 2nd annual Sulphur Bluff JV Tournament this Saturday.
