It was a large crowd of supporters of the Sulphur Bluff FFA that arrived at the school Vocational Agriculture Building, on Saturday, for the annual FFA Fish Fry and Auction. This year's event featured the fish fry beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by the auction. The fish fry featured some 60 pounds of catfish, 35 pounds of chicken, and all the trimmings, cooked by FFA members and their parents.
The auction featured a number of shopmade items and items that had been donated by community residents and Hopkins County businesses.

"It was a great auction and great day for the Sulphur Bluff Community," advised FFA Advisor, Sotero Ramirez. "We had a great day of support from approximately 100 people and the meal was great!"
The over $8,000.00 raised at Saturday's event will be used to support FFA activities and projects for the chapter, such as leadership contests, livestock and dairy judging, officer training camps, and trips to stock shows and conventions.
