Sulphur Bluff FFA competed in the State Fair of TexasAg. Mechanics Show, this week, on Monday and Tuesday, and competed very well at the state-wide show. Jeremy Coberley, Colton Emerson, Hunter Vaughn, Dustin Joslin, placed second in the BBQ Grill/Smoker Division-pull type, Clay Mitchell, and Collin Williams were second in the BBQ Grill/Smoker Division-stationary class.

Justin Keen, Trey Williams, Jeff Davis were second in the Wildlife Division with a hog trap. And in the Outdoor Recreation Division, Cameron Hancock placed third with a wood bench. Karissa Wolf placed fourth with a wood chest and Travis Allen and Jacob Mintz also took fourth with a metal bench and table.

This was the first time that Sulphur Bluff had ever competed at the State Fair Ag Mechanics show and are already making plans to attend next year.
