Reilly Springs Scavenger Hunt

It's almost time to "load up the kids" and make a morning of family fun, in the historic Reilly Springs Community. It's the First Annual Reilly Springs Community Scavenger Hunt. Organizers have planned a morning of fun, for the entire family. Participants are asked to be at the Reilly Springs Community Center, by 9:00 a.m., on Saturday morning, where they will receie their clues, and began attempting to find the list of items. And, what a list of items!

There are historic sites throughout the community, including old wells, sites of the "Great Reilly Springs Dynamite Caper" and even a few graves of people in the Reilly Springs Cemetery, of some significant event. Then, you'll proceed to Sulphur Springs, as you search for some surprises, that are located throughout the city of Sulphur Springs and points in-between. And, you never know where a "bonus" might be offered, if you choose to participate in a "surprise" at one of the business locations. There is fun waiting at every corner!

 

 

 

But, you must be back in Reilly Springs, by NOON, where lunch will be served and your collection of items will be appraised by some unbiased judges, to determine the winners. First prize received the $250.00 Grand Prize, while second place receives $100.00, and third place receives the $50.00 prize!

It's certain to be a day filled with excitement and learning about Hopkins County!

All proceeds go to the repair and maintenance of the Reilly Springs Community Center, so that events and reunions can continue to be held in the historic facility.
