East Texas Police Academy Graduates
Cadets, Friday Night

It was a formal graduation ceremonies at The Way Bible Church, on Friday night, at 6:30 p.m., that culminated hours of work and dedication for 17 graduates of the East Texas Police Academy. Academy instructor, Andy Chester, introduced the Hainesville Fire Department, who conducted the posting of the colors, while the Star Spangled Banner was sung. Then, a slide presentation of the months of training, that the cadets had endured was enjoyed by the audience of parents, grandparents, and friends.

 


Hon. Judge John L. Horton, Hunt County Judge of Greenville, was the keynote speaker
of Friday night's graduation ceremonies.

 

Cadet Joe Sterner led the Invocation and Academy Range Master, Les Ferguson, presented the welcome to those in attendance. Keynote speaker for the evening was Hon. County Judge John L. Horn, of Greenville.

 

 

The class members were then introduced and presented with their diplomas. The role of graduates included: B.J. Shelton, Class President, Joe Sterner, Class Chaplain, Seth McDaniel, Class Treasurer, T.C. Abron, Robbie Ballard, Kevin Lester, Austin Newsom, Prentice Allen, Dueane Bohn, Danny Meyer, Thomas Taylor, Jennifer Baldonado, Jordan Aly, Robert Cote, Greg Morris, and Tesha Walker.
