"Pack The Gym" Event Planned
For Cumby, Friday

"Friday is a big game for the Lady Trojans!" expressed Coach Shelley Jones. "We're asking that everyone come out to the game and 'pack the gym' in support of the Lady Trojans to give them the 'extra edge' on Friday night!"

The Lady Trojans, rated #3 in the state, in Class 1-A Volleyball, will be facing district opponent and #4 in the state, Avery, on Friday night. The Lady Trojans bring their perfect 5-0 in district to the court and really want to deliver a win, as they make a quest for a state title this year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

"It means so much to the players to see a gym full of people supporting them and behind their efforts," acknowledged Jones. "We'd like to see everyone from across Hopkins County come out and support the Lady Trojans. It's on the way to the football game in Sherman, for those folks in Sulphur Springs, so they can drop-by and support our girls!"

"We promise it will be some of the toughest competition of the season and those coming out, won't be disappointed," expressed Senior Savanah Neal. "We're looking for Avery to be tough and intent on 'bumping' us down in the standings!"

 

 

 

The Junior Varsity Game will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the Varsity Game will follow.

The Lady Trojans are 26-5 for the season and 5-0 in district play.

Make plans to be in Cumby, on Friday night, to support the Lady Trojans!!!!
