As It Opens Tuesday Night
by: Bobby McDonald

If you missed Tuesday night's opening night of "Oz The Musical," it's time to block-out your calendar for the second performance, Wednesday night, you won't want to miss it. And, if like me, you went, you're already shifting schedules so you can take in another performance. The musical was just that good!

These "sisters" put a memorable "twist" on the classic Wizzard of Oz tale!!!
"Every child in Sulphur Springs should be just so lucky to see this performance," exclaimed the lady sitting next to me. "It is absolutely awesome!"

The musical written by Todrick D. Hall, a Plainview, Texas, native, is a contemporary "twist" on Baum's classic tale "The Wonderful Wizzard of Oz" and certainly won't leave a "dull or boring" moment throughout the presentation. Follow, the familiar characters of Dorothy, Toto, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man, and Lion, as they travel toward discovering that there is no place like home, and meet an all-star cast all along the way.

Wonderful vocals and outstanding acting are featured throughout the production and it's right here at home.
