It Was "Mule Kissers" Instead of
Mule Skinners at Alliance Bank, Friday

Laughs abounded as the officers from Alliance Bank lined up for the second annual "Mule Kissing" Contest, on Friday, as part of the Relay For Life Fundraising efforts. Alliance Bank's Relay Team had been selling chances to have one of their bank officers kiss "Ruth," the friendly neighborhood mule. However, when it came down to the actual kissing, all those officers who had raised $100.00 or more, kissed the mule, to promote more funds for the team.

Meanwhile, other officers at the bank were busy cooking those famous hamburgers and serving them through the line, as supporters lined up for lunch, at $5.00 per person. "We had a great fundraising effort to promote our Relay For Life team," expressed one of Friday's event organizers. "And the great part about it is that all of the funds go for cancer research, that touches the lives of everyone!"
