Miller Grove Fire Department
Offering $500.00 Reward For
Vandalism Perpetrators
by: Bobby McDonald
Someone drove through the western Hopkins County Community of Miller Grove, on Saturday night or early Sunday morning and shot into the Fire Station, leaving three bullet holes in the building. "We can't imagine why anyone would want to shoot at the Fire Station," expressed a member of the Miller Grove Fire Department. "Fortunately, no volunteer fireman was on the premise when the shots were fired, but it was just by chance, as the department is making an effort to have someone located there all the time!"
The person responsible for the shooting, could have easily hit one of the volunteers, had they been present, as one shot went through the front glass of the building, according to Miller Grove Volunteers.
"We're offering a $500.00 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for this shooting," advised members of the Miller Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
If you have information about this incident, please call the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department, and speak to an officer at (903)438-4040.
